This course teaches students a variety of skills including project definition, WBS, SOW, activity development, network diagrams, three-time estimate method to assess risk and schedule a project, resource levelling, time cost trade-offs and estimating, earned value, reporting and progress measurement during project, project termination and the role of project personnel.

The Communication for Technology course equips students with practical business communication techniques for various operational stages, such as planning, organizing, selecting, writing, and presenting information in the Tech Industry. Students will be taught how to prepare routine memos, proposals, emails, presentations, cover letters and resumes, submit requests and format proper replies.
This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn and become proficient with Clio system, Salesforce, and HubSpot. The course will focus on managing leads, clients, partners, projects, and workflow within each platforms.
This course will cover the tools and techniques required to translate project objectives and scope into units of cost that can be used to create a budget. All aspects of project cost management will be addressed, including: planning, estimating, budgeting, financing, funding, managing, and controlling costs. Methodologies for the procurement of products/services outside of areas specific to the project team and contract management will also be examined as these relate to project costs. This will include monitoring contract fulfillment and managing change process controls.
A website without proper graphics is very much like a forest without trees. This course will provide the fundamentals of creating, optimizing, and managing graphic assets for web design and development. In this course, students will be introduced to two of the most important tools for creating and editing computer graphics; Photoshop and Illustrator. Through using these applications, students will learn to produce Vector Graphics such as logos and icons, in addition to compositing images to create appealing images, backgrounds and banners for web pages.
This course aims to educate teaches students about the tools by major providers such as Bing and Google that are available to business owners and business promoters in the online environment.
This course covers the principles of creating and setting up proper business management dashboards on these platforms to boost and streamline the online promotion process. Students will learn this process by practicing the dashboard setup and promotion tactics with popular platforms such as Google, My Business (GMB), and Bing Places for Business (BPB).

If these aspects are not been taken care of properly, these can harm the business with a big amount of liabilities and can result in shutdown of business or incur personal liabilities. The course on Business Law in Canada introduces the basics of business law to students to prepare them for business problems relating to legal issues. This course highlights the key policies, rights, responsibility and regulations most concerned in today’s business world. Upon completion of this course, students will have a solid understanding of business law in Canada and the Canadian legal system. Students will be able to distinguish the difference between Federal and Provincial legislative structure, understanding contract law, its elements, formation, its terms, and conditions and justify stipulation/conditions of enforcement and non-enforcement, and knowledge of in-court and out-of-court dispute resolution options.
Intro to Web Development focuses on providing students with the essentials of web design and web development. Through a hands-on approach, students will learn the foundations of web technologies and terminologies. Adhering to the rules and guidelines of W3C standards, this course covers the Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), providing the essentials of creating and developing web pages. Students will learn to set up local servers and development platforms for efficient web development processes. In addition, the concept of responsive design, web domains, web hosting and management is discussed in this course.
This course focuses on how to manage ad platforms like Google Ads. Students will learn important concepts like ad search, ad display, video ads, and many other advertising options provided by Google Ads. In this course, students learn about the principles of Ad campaigns and displays, and how these types of advertising could help businesses achieve their marketing goals. They also learn about the principles of video and shopping ads, and ads in applications while practicing and experimenting with Google Ads measurement tools.
Streaming platforms play a huge role in online entertainment and provide a great opportunity for marketers. This course will introduce several popular streaming platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo and along with others, and demonstrate to students how these platforms could be used in online marketing.
In this course, students explore each of these platforms and analyze user traffic, viewership, communications and sharing options. In addition, students will work collaboratively in teams to conduct a thorough research in identifying an appropriate streaming platform for online marketing, and prepare and present an online marketing plan designed for streaming platforms.
This course provides foundational knowledge for students to learn Search Engine Optimization, and the process of how to improve online exposure for websites. Throughout this course students will learn how implementing SEO tactics across the pages of business’ site could improve the online visibility of the business in search engine result page based on organic searches done by users, and practice implementing these skills. Moreover, students will use tools such as Google Analytics to collect data and measure the effectiveness of SEO tactics, as well as practicing the basics of google ads network.

Through this course, students will learn about how to start an advertising campaign on Google and Bing marketing platforms, their strengths and weaknesses, and the tools and mediums they offer. This course also provides the basis and preparation for Google Marketing Platform examination.

This course introduces some of the popular online advertising platforms to students and discusses the strengths for each of these platforms. Throughout this course, students explore platforms such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Pinterest and more, in order to understand how these platforms could provide a suitable launch pad for effective ad campaigns.
The Intro to Digital Marketing course introduces students to the essentials of marketing through a variety of digital and online platforms. Students will plan and discuss strategies that can help organizations be competitive in today’s online environment.
Key areas in this course include web audit and web analysis, social media marketing, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, and mobile marketing. In this course students will be working in teams on projects inspired by actual businesses. In doing so, students will gain practice developing and planning a viable digital marketing strategy that meets business objectives and marketing goals.
